shaker to apply it to the fabric. This method is suitable for
smaller areas or when a precise application is required.
Heat Press: Place the fabric with the applied TPU hot melt powder
between the heat press plates. Apply the recommended activation
temperature and pressure based on the TPU hot melt powder and
fabric type. The heat melts the TPU powder, allowing it to bond the
fabric layers together.
Conveyor-Belt Oven: In industrial settings, a conveyor-belt oven
can be used to pass the fabric through a heated tunnel. The heat
melts the TPU powder and activates the bonding process.
Cooling and Finishing: After activation, allow the fabric to cool
down and solidify. Once cooled, check the bond strength and ensure
that the bonded fabric is stable and secure. Trim any excess
adhesive if necessary.
