Application of DTF Powder
Heat Press Transfer: Apply heat and pressure using a heat press
machine or a suitable transfer system. The recommended activation
temperature and pressure may vary depending on the specific DTF TPU
hot melt adhesive powder and fabric being used. Typically, a
temperature range of 140 to 180 degrees Celsius (284 to 356 degrees
Fahrenheit) and moderate to high pressure are applied.
Transfer Process: During the heat press transfer, the TPU hot melt
adhesive powder melts and bonds with the fabric, transferring the
printed design from the film to the fabric. The heat and pressure
combination ensures a strong and durable bond between the design
and the fabric.
Cooling and Peeling: After the transfer process, allow the fabric
to cool down for a few seconds or as per the manufacturer's
recommendation. Once cooled, carefully peel off the DTF film roll
from the fabric, leaving the transferred design behind.
Curing (Optional): Some manufacturers recommend a post-transfer
curing step to further enhance the bond and durability of the
transferred design. This involves reapplying heat and pressure to
the transferred print for a specific duration, as specified by the
manufacturer.
Finished Product: Once the curing process is complete, the fabric
with the transferred design is ready for use. The DTF TPU hot melt
adhesive powder ensures a vibrant, durable, and wash-resistant
print on the fabric.
